Well, it's that time again. There are 21 days until Christmas. A few days ago my siblings and I were decorating for Christmas and I had asked my two younger siblings what Christmas was all about and my younger sister replied "I don't know" but, my younger brother, who is only 5, replied "Jesus". He is completely and totally right. Christmas is not about presents, Santa Claus, mistletoe, lights, candy, holly, gingerbread houses, etc. It's about Jesus Christ who came to earth and was born of a virgin.

Next, I asked them what they were going to give to Jesus for a gift, and again my little brother replied correctly. He said "My heart". I am so proud of my little brother! That is what I am going to give to Him this year and every year, the ultimate gift, my heart.

In II Corinthians 4:6 it says

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. "

Dear Lord,
I give you my heart this Christmas season. I pray that It would be a clean and pure place for your spirit to dwell. Lord, shine through me!
