God gave me a revelation tonight when I went to a fellowship and my mom told me to share it with you all.
I have heard it referred to so many times that some people live on the little things in the denominations these days. Lord's Supper, Tithe, etc. But, that is just the milk of it all. We need to get off of the milk. Stop worrying about what kind of milk everyone is on. Well, I'm on 1% and you're on 2% and the other guy is on fat free. Stop it! Get we need to get off the petty things that we are worried about and get to the trueness of God himself. Get off of the milk that the babies of Christ are feeding on and get to the meat of God (Hebrews 5:12). Mature and grow up and into the Lord and Saviour. Ephesians 4:15 "But let us follow the truth in love, and in all things, grow up into him, which is the head, that is, Christ." The less of us there is the more room there is for him!
Paul said in Romans 14:2 "One believeth that he may eat of all things: and another, which is weak, eateth herbs." That is spiritual. One believes in all the things of God; healing, prophesying. And another, who is weak (because of all of the milk), eateth herbs. The herbs is a picture of the petty things, Lord's Supper, Tithe, etc. We don't eat steak because of the trimmings, we eat it because of the steak and it fills us. We shouldn't be in Christ because of the trimmings, the petty things, we should be in Him because of him and he should be enough to sustain us.
It says in 1 Cor. 10:3-4 "...And did all eat the same spiritual meat, And did all drink the same spiritual drink (for they drank of the spiritual Rock that followed them: and the Rock was Christ.)"
We should just eat the spiritual meat, which is Christ Jesus (the Hope of Glory Col. 1:27) and drink the spiritual drink (the Rock who is Christ Jesus Psalm 62:7 and in many other Psalms). Christ lives in us, God lived in Jesus for 30 sum years and look at how much He did! God wants to do that in ALL of us! Isn't that amazing!?!

In Exodus 17:6 and in Numbers 20:8 God brought forth the water out of the rock for the Israelite children and it sustained them. The Rock is a picture of Christ himself.
So many people marvel at all of the great a pillars of faith in the Bible. Let us remember what it took to get them to be that pillar. Hmmm, Oh yeah! God had to strike Paul on his face and smite him with blindness for three days for him to listen to God. Jacob wrestled with the angel of God and the angel had to put his hip out of joint, then he listened. Moses had to be lead up to a mountain in the middle of nowhere and see a burning bush to listen to God. I don't want to have to go through THAT! Although, the burning bush would be pretty spectacular ;). Let's listen to God as his Spirit whispers to us and reveals to us the small things and let's work up from there.
Throughout the week God may reveal some things to us that may or may not apply to our lives, but in true fellowship with true believers (where everyone CAN share what they learned that week, not just one person. How can everyone share if one person is doing all the talking the whole time?), God will take that thing he gave us and apply it to another's situation. And that person may have something that fits in someone else's situation and they may have the thing that fits in yours. That is the fellowship, that is Christ the Hope of Glory. Let's not try to re-arrange Christ into boxes and denominations, let's focus on the BIG PICTURE.
It says in Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
I wonder why Jesus was outside. He wasn't inside. People try to put God, the Almighty God of the universe, in their box. Too bad he doesn't fit in a box. Jesus wasn't inside the house (or church, if you will), because they wouldn't let Him in. He had so much more to him and they only wanted to accept part of him. Maybe they didn't like the rest. Maybe the rest didn't agree with what they were teaching their people. The people don't belong to them, the people belong to GOD. When you hear God knocking on the door of your heart, let him in. Let him take the steering wheel and direct you in HIS paths (Prov. 3:6).
Some people have become so set in their ways that they have become hardened to God. 2 Cor. 3:14-18 "Therefore their minds are hardened: for until this day remaineth the same covering untaken away in the reading of the old Testament, which veil in Christ is put away. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is laid over their hearts. Nevertheless when their heart shall be turned to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord with open face, and are changed into the same image, from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord."
They have been so caught up with organized religion that it has become like a veil, or a box, to them. It hardens their minds and their hearts. It only feeds them milk and herbs. Through Christ that veil, or box of denominations, can be taken away! We can feast on His meat now! *Yeah, prime rib for everyone ;)* Christ is not in the box because he took the box away and we can live free of it. If you turn your heart to the Lord, he will take away that 'veil/box'. He promises liberty right there in verse 17! We must use the Word of God, which is Jesus Christ, (John 1:14) as a mirror (James 1:23). We must have an open heart, an open face, and we will be changed into the same image (Remember that in the beginning, man was in the image of God, man was perfect. Genesis 1:27), from glory to glory. The Spirit of the Lord will guide us.
Please learn how to grow up into Christ. We are ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor 5:20). Please teach someone else today! Parents, neighbor, enemy (Luke 6:35). Teach another brother, sister (We are not only each others brothers and sisters, but we are Christ's 'siblings' Mark 3:35!), or a lost sheep about Christ (Matthew 10:6), the Hope of Glory!
God bless and be blessed by Yeshua, my family!

You are wise beyond your years! I loved seeing you on a roll last night!!
Beautifully written, bravo!! I wholeheartedly agree with you, so many people are putting their relationship with the Lord aside because they're too busy dwelling over regulations :( Jesus is not an instruction manual, He wants us to accept Him into our lives and share the news to everyone we bump into :)
I adored this post, thank you for taking the time to write this :)
